PAM-CEM/FD
Included in the software package to enable a fast computation of the electromagnetic environment surrounding the model, the PAM-CEM/FD solver is based on a classical Finite-Difference Time-Domain technique. Integrating its own sugarcubes mesh generator to discretize the model, PAM-CEM/FD allows the user to manage the interaction of external exciting waves with complex structures, to deal with radiating wire antennas, or to combine such 3D analysis with the CRIPTE software through dedicated Susceptibility or Radiation coupling procedures.
Targeting EMC analysis on wide frequency spectra, PAM-CEM/FD operates directly in time domain following an explicit computation scheme. Non uniform sugarcubes grids are managed inside the computational domain, while standard absorbing conditions or Perfectly Matched Layers (PML) can be used. Within the framework of some further coupling with the CRIPTE software, radiated fields can be automatically computed all along the wires’ path, whatever the complexity of the network. The dedicated PAM-CEM/FD output file is managed by the C3M coupling interface to address the CRIPTE software, using the expected files and formats (Fourier transforms, interpolation schemes, etc.).
